Big Tobacco
There at it in the US and why would they leave us out?
All tobacco brands have been increasing the nicotine dosage in each cigarette steadily during the last six years, says a report from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The overall increase has been about 10% during 1998-2004. The higher the nicotine dose, the more hooked you get - it is much more difficult to quit.
The only conclusion one could come to is that the tobacco industry has taken steps to secure sales by making people more addicted...
The pressure has come off in recent years. How much is this costing the health service and contributing to their problems.. this is a dangerous drug...More tax please...

Secret World
A fantastic view... which shows how insignificant we are ...
View the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After that, begin to move from the actual size of a leaf into a microscopic world that reveals leaf cell walls, the cell nucleus, chromatin, DNA and finally, into the subatomic universe of electrons and protons.

Now He Tells Us
President Bush was in the midst of explaining how the attacks of 9/11 inspired his “freedom agenda” and the attacks on Iraq until a reporter, Ken Herman of Cox News, interrupted to ask what Iraq had to do with 9/11. “Nothing,” Bush defiantly answered.

Always Time To Learn
Guy Kawasaki has a very interesting post where he sets out
Ten Things To Learn This School Year, no problem that he gives us twelve, they are worth reading. I'm well past school age but who said I should ever stop learning?
